Ordered pizza here. Was delivered quickly, directly to the apartment. Great in terms of price and taste. Seldom eaten such a good pizza. I can only recommend

Good pizzeria, decor a bit rustic, food very good. Customer requests are implemented without any problems. Price / performance perfectly okay.

The food (pizza) was okay-ish, the quality was somehow under average. On top of that, it took almost half an hour to wait for the order. The personal seemed to rush everywhere even thought the Restaurant was less than the half full. Overall regular experience.

Food was good but it was very noisy

We had a pasta carbonara and a pasta al aglio. We had to wait very long before they arrived. The carbonara was ok but the pata al aglio was too spicy. They not only used spicy oil (which would have been fine) but also added a red pepper (cut and with the seeds). This made the dish so spicy that it was not nice to eat. The staff are ok but overall the restaurant has not a nice or cosy atmosphere.

The food (pizza and gnocchi) and the drinks were really good and well priced. The service was also friendly and quick. The point deduction results from a really weak ambience. Anyone who attaches great importance to this should choose another restaurant.

Very tasty, good portions, nice ambience and nice service. Everything was great.

Top restaurant. Very tasty food. You have to find a better made pizza first. In spite of the crowded restaurant, employees tried very hard and the waiting time was short. Gladly again.

4 x pizza ordered. One tasted better than the other. We picked up the pizzas right there. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We'll definitely be back ?

Had pizza gorgonzola with rocket. Not through. Very doughy. A fat / oily cheese mash with little gorgonzola flavor on top. The waitress is friendly. I don't have to have it again.

The pizza tasted fantastic and the service was also very nice. Everything is great.

The menu promises more than it lives up to. I can't judge pizzas and pasta dishes, but meat and fish. The side dishes announced for the dishes were not served at all. The side dishes then complained about were sullenly handed in 10 minutes later, the food was now cold. Price - performance is not right here.

Pizza is great, unfortunately you are neglected if you sit in the Central. Therefore, rather eat there and drink zim then to Theo!

Finally Pizzaaaa again and then also super delicious! We recommend. At the moment, take away pizza and noticed that a delivery service was also introduced. Restaurant food is also very popular and the kitchen has a typical Italian, entertaining flair

Very good Italian pizza

Excellent food. Price and service. Went to restaurant one evening, went back 3 days later, waitress remembered us, what we ate, and what name wine we drank.

Had a good pizza marinara and it had more octopus tentacle than shrimps or clams, but tasted good nonetheless and that pizza was a filling meal. It's nice to eat outside if the weather allows you to do so and kudos to the kind and helpful staff. Tasted better than any franchise pizza I had recently, so I would recommend it to anyone who's craving for a pizza in Oberammergau.

What a nice surprise, pizza was excellent, prices are very reasonable, service is fast and efficient and staff also speak English if your German is not up to par. All of it comes with smiles which is rare in the town if you're visibly a tourist (but that's another story), La Montanara, well done and thank you!

Simple but cozy decorated restaurant with fast and friendly service. From an extensive selection, I finally chose a pizza. The requested look was no problem and the extra spicy oil neatly placed on every table next to the candle was not necessary on my large pizza. The Danmark coupe for dessert (dame blanche coupe) was not with hot chocolate sauce. The pizza was worth a four as well as the restaurant but considering that I was asked to pay 30 cents more than what was on my ticket after asking myself ..... Maybe the extra look? The restaurant can only be accessed with stairs. There is also a delivery and pick-up option.

Cosy interior. Fresh, hot, and delicious food! It is also possible to pay by a credit card, which is a problem in many other places in the town. Bellissimo!

Best pizza in Oberammergau

A really nice Italian restaurant, making a nice change from the typical German food. We had a really nice, stone baked pizza. No complaints and will visit again when we're in Oberammagau again.

Good Italian food. The environment was calm and warm.

In my personal opinion this is the best pizza place in oberammergau there is a few other places but not as good as la montanara they have a fantastic pizza oven you can watch your pizza being cooked over an open flame right there in front of you and they have good selections of toppings and a nice thin crust pizza that is super. The staff was very helpful and had a good grasp of English as well and the prices are cheap for a whole pizza Plus they have some great beer
